We finally completed the typesetting and printing of the last paragraph of Virginia Woolf’s “The Mark on the Wall”, from the first Hogarth book: Two Stories, 1917. Pressmaster Ted Ollier led us safely through the mysteries (and the profoundly non-mysterious hard labor) of printing. We found out that sorting the type back in the case is no less challenging than typesetting! The Woolfs must have spent so much time and effort in this prosaic clean-up on the poetic work!
